Preparing for arrival!

Welp, I'm down to less than three weeks until my time abroad begins! Since winter break started a week ago, I've been reading some travel books and researching all the things I want to do next semester. Here's a list I'll be updating as continue I my research:

Cities I would love to see:
1. London (ha, obviously)
2. Paris (already have a weekend trip built in!)
3. Edinburgh
4. Lisbon
5. Brussels (Richmond already has trips to 3-5 planned for next semester that students can sign up for!)
6. Amsterdam
7. Athens (Lily and I would have a grand time)
8. Prague
9. Barcelona
10. Berlin
11. Venice
12. Salzburg (sound of music)
13. Dublin (hopefully for St. Patty's day)
14. Vienna
And Mom and Pops are coming up to visit over my spring break, so we will get the Italy tour when they are here. Hopefully we'll get to Rome, the Vatican and Siena.

Well, that's a lot of places, so we shall see how many of those I get checked off my list before the end of May.

List of things I hope to see and do in London:
1. Natural History Museum
2. Science Museum
3. Victoria and Albert Museum (Mom, Grandma and I went to see the movie Young Victoria today. It was mostly about the relationship between Victoria and Albert... a very cute movie)
4. See some Shakespeare plays at the Globe (which I should be doing anyways for my Shakespeare class!)
5. The British Museum
6. The Tower of London
7. London Eye (great photo opp)
8. House of Parliament tour (I read somewhere you can actually sit in on their debates at any time)
9. British Library
10. Kensington Palace

I'll continue to fill this in over the next two weeks until my pending arrival!
